Xserve has no power
School year ends. As I do twice a year, I use a "vacuum" to blow dust build up from inside the case. Do so. Put back together. Restart machine. All is well. Machine functions fine.
Last day, I unplug all computers in lab and leave for summer. Come back in to check on things. Plug in server. No reaction. Machine does nothing. No lights, no audible sounds, not even the sound one might expect when plugging in a machine and the electrical "connection" is established (power running through circuits).
I have no idea why a machine that was functioning fine prior to being unplugged for a couple of weeks might not work when plugging in again. When plugging in the first time, there was no indications of a problem (sound, smell, sight, or otherwise).
Have tried different power cords, different outlets. Gave up last time I came in but left it plugged in in the hopes that somehow that might help, but alas...nothing.
Any ideas?
Any thoughts?
15" Macbook Pro, Dual 2 GHz Mac Pro, et (many) al..., Mac OS X (10.5.7), is there any other computer?
