Smooth Clav has annoying click at end of every note
In one of my compositions I use the "Smooth Clav" as one of my instruments. It has just the sound I am looking for except at the end of every note there is an annoying click instead of leaving the note "open". Can somebody else give this instrument a quick try it and see if this happens to them too? Does anybody know how to fix it?
By the way, when viewing the composition in "piano roll" mode, if you click and hold the mouse on a key to play a note on the vertical keyboard, the note plays and properly fades out (like I want it to) but the click happens when you finally release the mouse button.
(I'm in GB '08) I'm not really getting a click. On the longer notes there is a bit of a... baby hiccup at the end of the notes. (It also happens in piano-roll view when holding the mouse down long enough for the note to stop on its own but not so much when I release the mouse before the note is done). And it doesn't do it on very short notes. On long, long notes I get the hiccup when the note ends even if the sound has already died out.
if you ever get to play a real clavi, you'll notice that because of the mechanism involved to pluck the string, there is in fact a click at the end of the notes. apple did a great job in recreating this in the instrument. it's not a flaw.
