Weather is coming up in French

The Weather is coming up in French but I only speak English, I have updated to 3.0 from 2.1 OS, If I was to restore, do I have to buy the 3.0 upgrade again.

Other OS, Windows 7 Build 7100

I restored using iTunes and restored as a new ipod.

Now that (to me at least is interesting) when I go to m.yahoo.com, which is the website the weather app gives you, when I go there on my PC, it goes to the same french page.

Jenny, if I go to the Yahoo page using the same URL as on the ipt it comes up in English but if I substitute 'fr' for 'uk' we rapidly cross the channel. Is there any way of changing the URL for the app?

Jenny, I expect you have discovered this already but I thought that would mention it. The app URL is http://uk.m2.yahoo.com/w/onesearch?lang=en&p=[ + the url for the site for the location searched]. The key appears to be the "en". Is yours "fr"? If so, can you change it? Regards

Here is the url I am directed to after m.yahoo.com, http://fr.m2.yahoo.com/w/onesearch?.lang=fr&p=London&.tsrc=appleww&submit=oneSea rch&tsrc=appleww&first=1

As Such I haven't found a way off change the language even tried restoring as a new ipod, nothing, the only way to read it in my language is if I manually change it.

Hi all,
I would just thought I would update you and let yu know I have cured my weather app problem, I installed the yahoo app, that seems to have cured it. Now, I wonder can I take it off and the weather app still be OK? Let's hope so.

Took Yahoo App off and all is OK again! Yeah!
