iCal as desktop interesting challenge
Interesting challenge
I thought it would be cool to make my desktop background iCal. I am on track, but need some help. I have printed my calendar to a pdf file. Then select the pdf file as the desktop background. It works, but the background is black. So some of the text is not visible. How would I make the background of the PDF file white. I am guessing it is transparent by default.
Second challenge. If we (meaning all of you at this point 😉 can figure out how to make the background white, then we (again... you) need to write a script that would publish the current calendar to a PDF file and write over the existing one daily to keep the screen up to date.
I don't currently know anything about apple script except that it exists. I am planning on buying a book on it next time I am at the book so I can figure this out myself. I thought this might be useful to others and it seemed like an interesting challenge.
