Waldorf PPG Wave 2.V crashes validation ?

Hi There

I've just installed the Waldorf Edition update to get my PPG Wave running on my new Intel Mac Pro.

However, despite passing all the tests on the AU validation window, the validation result is that it crashes validation. How can that be ? The other two AUs that come in the bundle both work fine (Waldorf Attack and D-Pole), which is typical because the PPG is the one I wanted to get working 🙂

I should also note that it works absolutely fine in LIVE v8.0, so it is only Logic which is taking exception to this plug-in.

Has anyone any suggestions fior this ? I've tried re-installing and the same thing happens. There are no preferences that I can see to trash.

Some assistance in this would be most useful.

Thanks

Ok - what version of the PPG etc does the AU Manager report?

It might be possible that you have two copies (one in the root library, and one in the system library), or Logic is using cached info from a previous version.

In which case, try deleting your AU cache and rebooting, and seeing whether that helps. Failing that, do a complete uninstall of the Waldorf edition, and reinstall, and see whether that does the trick.
