Electric shocks from Macbook

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, and what you did about it. My macbook when charging gives small electric shocks through the body of the mac. I'v been on the phone to Apple and they have suggested using a 3 pronged plug, which i do. using a serge protector, which i shouldn't have to use. They told me the magsafe adapter is not earthed if not using the extension lead, which seems mad to me. Please post comments if you have experienced similar problems and what you did to sort it out.

First thing I would do is use a different Mic cable, (just to be sure).
the Apogee takes it's power via Firewire (correct?) and so the 48 volts phantom power it's supplying to the mic should have the same ground as the rest of the machine. Unplug everything else from the Macbook except the Apogee and Mic, do not plug speakers into the Apogee, use the headphone jack.

Any improvement.

Also, definitely check with Apogee on this, if it's a known problem it will be in their database.

Why the **** would you make a $4000.00 computer that when plugged in to a wall outlet give a low vibrating shock?????
You don't show that in your video with you so called engineers! I have had this MBP for a month and just cant wait to see what else will go wrong! click beep hang and now shocked when i touch the computer. COME ON!
