My MBP shipment stuck in china!

I ordered a macbook pro 13' on the 13th last week and it's shipped on 16th with DHL as the carrier.

Now it's 21st and the shipment still lies in China. I called and complained but the guy who answered the phone said the they have a weather problem so they can't depart. How long this wait is going to be?

I just lost my macbook pro and I need a replacement asap. This really ruins my jobs and study.

I just don't understand why they transport the laptop to kentucky, not California. I got a few of shipments from Apple by Fedex, which was fast. From Shanghai, China to my neighborhood only took 3 to 4 days. Also, Fedex delivery the package from AK to Oakland, CA directly. That's why I am curious why they just don't do what Fedex did, and it can save a lot of fees for themselves........-_-

We ordered a new MBP for my nephew on July 12. The package just got to Louisville today. I believe that Louisville is a big import hub for UPS. For some reason they have started to use UPS for shipping. When I got mine last Nov. They used Fed Ex and it only took three days from China to So Cal where I was living at the time . I prefer Fed ex because their tracking info is more detailed
and informative. I had to call UPS to even find out when the expected delivery date is. Fri. End of day.

I believe the Apple site indicates that shipment takes "5-8 business days" for standard delivery, so you'll have to anticipate that they could take the full 8 business days, plus a few days to configure the order.

I ordered on the 9th, and it didn't arrive until the 20th. If you want something faster, then you'll just have to cough up the dough for expedited shipping.

Now, if you paid $100 extra for 2 day shipping and you're on day 5, then there's something to be ****** about!
