time signature changes & Groove Agent 3

Hi all,

I only upgraded a week ago from Garageband .
The main reason for upgrading was that there's no time signature automation in GB, only volume, tempo, etc.
I'm playing jazz stuff so the time signature keeps changing throughout the songs. I did manage to find out how to do it (I think) but I have a new problem.
I'm using Groove Agent as an instrument plugin for drums and it only seems to follow the song's main signature and not the changes during the song.
Any ideas?

Hi Piero,

I'm don't know if this will help, but when using Groove Agent go to the preferences menu and from there you can change the time signature. I believe that you may have to do this every time you need to change time signature - I don't think it follows your changes in Logic automatically.

Ok, after trying that myself, I now know that it doesn't work. I also now have the same problem.

Hello Rekkor......

I'm having a bear of a time trying to get Groove Agent 3 to record (or heck, even be of use) to me in Logic 8. I've got all the updates to both programs, and I can get GA's audio to register in one of Logic's track (the audio meter goes up and down....sorry, I'm not very technical here!:). How do you effectvly use GA in Logic? Any help would be greatly appricated!
