Final Cut Pro 7 Master Templates are white!

I can't get Master Templates working in FCP 7. I see the templates if I browse them, I can load them up in Motion no problem. But if I try and view them in the viewer, or add them to the timeline, they come up white. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FCP 7 3 times today now, and can't seem to figure out why this feature doesn't work. I've trashed preferences, everything I can think of. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm afraid I may have spoken too soon, I'm still having some white video issues, and some issues where video will show up in the viewer, but when it's placed in a timeline it shows up as either white, or very very bright in the canvas. I'll do some more testing this evening, see if it still happens with bars and tone, etc. It's possible that I may have some other FXPlug effects that need to be pulled.

I'm having this same issue with footage being white. The audio works fine on any clips in the viewer or the canvas, but the picture is just completely white. There are occassionally some flashes of what looks like supersaturated pieces of whatever the clips are when they are opened, closed, etc. Some clips will play back fine in the viewer, but as soon as I drop them into a sequence, they look super blown out in the canvas. Also, just when I open Final Cut, without any project open, the viewer (and canvas, as soon as I create a project) will be white instead of black.

I have no idea what the issue is or how to solve it, and it's driving me crazy. I thought that maybe it could've been something to do with the Magic Bullet suite, as I did have that installed, but I deleted all the plug-ins, as mentioned earlier in this discussion, and nothing happened. I then did a reinstall of Final Cut Studio 3, but still nothing. Any ideas on what I could do or what could I might be missing?

Yes, Michael this works, but I had to make sure I got all of the plugins off. I found this post, I did it and it works:

The problem has been solved now! Removing the Magic Bullet Colorita FXplug-in did the trick.
I deleted the MBCC.fxplug and the MBCC_Slider.fxplug form the ~/Library/Plug-Ins/FxPlug folder and the GLCapsInfo.framework from the ~/Library/Frameworks folder and now the Master Templates renders in the Final Cut Pro viewer again.

So be aware : The Magic Bullet Colorista plug-in from Red Giant Software has a conflict with the Master Templates in Final Cut Pro 7.

I am having a similar problem. The templates display great in motion, but appear as white boxes when I run FC.

I am running a MacPro with a dual monitor display, and the wackiest thing is that the Templates will not display when I boot while both monitors are plugged in. However, if I boot the machine with only 1 monitor attached, then attach the second monitor, it works fine.

Any help would be much appreciated, this is just really annoying!
