iTunes direct movie downloads in iPhone 3GS

I'm probably being really simple here, but I can't seem to download any movies or TV shows directly from the iTunes store on my iPhone. Music works fine, as well as podcasts, but if I go into a movie (seems to be any movie), I get a preview button in the top right hand corner, but I can't click it. So all I'm left with is a description page of a movie. I've tried signing in and out, restarting the phone as well.

What am I doing wrong?

Mac Mini 1.83Ghz Intel Core Duo, Mac Book Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Email who? I've been searching the iPhone support pages and there doesn't seem to be an option to contact them.

Apple has replied heres what they said:

"Thanks for contacting iTunes support to let me know you're having a hard time. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with purchasing videos on your iPhone. I can imagine you must be eager to get this taken care of. I'm happy to see how I can help.

I've done some research on this issue, and I'd like you to know that this is caused by some trouble on our end and it is only affecting certain accounts. I assure you that Apple is currently working hard toward getting this straightened out as soon as we can.

I'm sorry to say that we don't have a definitive resolution to this issue just yet, so all I can do is ask for your patience while we get this corrected. You will receive another email after the matter has been taken care of and further information is available. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this must be causing for you."

I'm having the same problem. I was able to rent a movie two weeks ago on my US account from here in Switzerland where I currently live. Now I can't preview, rent or purchase. Here are some possible factors that we can consider, and maybe we all have some in common:

-My iPhone is JB'd and unlocked.

-As I said I'm in Switzerland using a US iTunes Store account (US address and credit card).

-I usually have location services off, certainly they were off when I rented two weeks ago, and I turned them on about a week ago. So now my location is known, not that they couldn't trace the IP address anyway.

-My account on my Mac is working just fine.

-I can purchase Music on the iPhone.

I still haven't watched the movie I rented two weeks ago, but I will sometime this week, and maybe something will change after that.
