Apps wont work on my iphone

i had the same problem on my iphone 3g s.

all i did to fix the problem is delete one non - native app, then go to the app store and download it again. everything went back to normal.

this happened to me as well and the iphone is less than a week old. i deleted the newly installed ones and just reinstalled one- facebook again. facebook now works and all the others that did not work are all working as well. good luck.

I am also having the same problems and no amount of de/re authorizing, signing out/in, resetting network settings, resetting the phone, deleting/redownloading, uninstalling/reinstalling or syncing is fixing the problem with my phone. I really don't want to wipe the entire phone.

I've been having the same problem on my iPhone 3GS off and on for a few weeks now since updating to 3.0.1. Deleting the app and redownloading it clears it up for a day or so until it starts happening again. I really don't want to do a factory reset if I can help it. It seems a lot of people have broken iPhones since the 3.0.1 update, I wish Apple would make a fix.

I've reached a point where I believe I am now even able to trigger the issue and to use a workaround to fix it 🙂 Would it be my job I'd try to reproduce it everytime, one's will understand I am not too keen pursuing the experimentation - until maybe Apple pays me for it 😉

I believe also there are many causes/configuration that run into the problem. Personnally I gave up synchronizing apps with Itunes. I only use WIFI to manage apps, as such I never made any modification with regard authorizing/unauthorizing PC.

- How did I came twice into that issue :
Having basically no connectivity (no 3G, nor WIFI), you then get an "o" for network indicator, I launched one of the user-app that requires network. Effect is then immediate, application stops and all of your user-app won't start anymore.... I will then advise you to check your network status before launching any non-system app.

- What I did to "recover"
Updating one single app or installing any new free one sounds to make it. At least it worked twice for me. (until now)

I attempted every "fix" throughout this thread to no avail whatsoever. I am becoming very agitated. What is an iPhone with no apps? It's what I've got... A worthless piece of equipment that does nothing it claims to be able to do. All my apps are gone, I permanently deleted all of them. It's been a nightmare ever since I upgraded to 3.0.1, what a piece of JUNK! I'm about to just sell the phone, or throw it out the window, whichever one happens first.

Happened to me too. This angers me. On this forum I see that Apple had this problem for 14 months AND HAS NOT FIXED IT. I wish I had read this threat before buying my iPhone last week. I need a dependable tool not a toy I need to reload and fiddle with for hours every week!

wow. have the same problem.. third party apps and some music flashes on and closes (or doesn't play).. have updated, deleted apps (not music), de/re authorized, went down to a factory reboot, re downloaded apps.. did EVERYTHING you all have done (except call apple), and they still won't work.. funny thing, on the same computer.. same updates, same apps, (different contacts and music) i have another iphone that's working fine! no problems! i'm tempted to see if i can just duplicate that phone and then start modifying... wonder if that will work. and how can i export the contacts to something so i can get those back?

Same here... just happened in the past few days. Other than native apps, every app doesn't load in spite of resetting, reloading ...

sounds strange but the fix might be:

on the iphone itself open the app store and download a free app that you don't already have... let it download and install and see if they all work 😀

I reset my Iphone, deleted the games that did not work, downloaded them again and they are working fine now.

Hey thanks for the suggestion but still hasnt worked, not sure if it makes a difference that i've got an original iphone? Im going crazy here! 😟
