Logic does not recognize Digi 002?

I've got a Power Mac G5 running Logic Pro 8 and I'm trying use my Digi 002 rack as the WAV interface. I know it is possible, but I can't get past this particular error.

The specs are as follows: Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5 Ghz. 4GB of RAM, v. 10.5.7
Digi 002 rack mount connected via Firewire 400.

I am receiving the following error:
"Can't find DAE program - 9065"

I have since, disconnected the 002 and installed the current "Core Audio Driver" as recommended when using the 002 on third party software.

I still get the same error with Logic consistently not able to recognize the Digi 002, thus I have no interface. Is there a common solution with this issue?

Thanks!!!
Chris

Hi Chris,
it seems you don't have the Digidesign correct drivers installed (or at least a faulty one) .

Go to : Standalone Digidesign CoreAudio Drivers for Mac OS X in http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=54&itemid=23375

and download the correspondent drivers for your system.

If that don't work again, install your version of Protools, once it's working
with Protools it must work with Logic too.

Peace,

Jorge
