Zoom feature

Okay. Here's the thing. My husband needs to be able to zoom in and out at will, but can never remember the key board short cuts. Is it possible to make 2 different scripts, one that zooms in and one that zooms out that I can put on his desktop using the Zoom feature in Universal access? Asking him to remember keyboard shortcuts is like asking elephants to fly. Just not happening. LOL! If so, can someone make the scripts? I am just learning applescript so I don't know how yet.
