I did see this message for one (very innocent) application (the one that allows you to print from the iPhone to your printer):

"This product contains material that may be objectionable to children under 17"...

I believe this was seen when I had 3 applications left to upgrade, so after that was updated the two remaining ones went OK through the Update All buttom.

So I guess you are right, it is related to applications that require the 17 or older confirmation.

Funny, this works fine on the iPhone itself. I thought it could be because of the pop up, but the pop up works when you upgrade that application by itself.

I think we have enough to file a bug. But where?

Same problem, several times. I do not have the eBay app nor were any of my updates for 17+ apps (that I know of).

Easiest workaround: "Update All" on your iPhone instead.

This is a pretty annoying bug as the "Update All" feature, both on the iPhone and iTunes is a great feature. And it's pretty sad that the iPhone can take care of it no problem but a program as advanced as iTunes cannot. I hope this gets fixed ASAP.

As this seems like a true bug, I will be reporting this bug as feedback here, and I recommend you do the same...

I was running into the exact same error as has been described in several posts here ... When attempting to update iphone applications, received error message stating that "we cannot complete your itunes store request - there is not enough memory available." I have PLENTY of memory available; both hard drive and RAM. I had tried to update itunes, and then to uninstall and reinstall it - which was a total waste of a couple hours of my time (don't bother!!). Finally, updating the apps one at a time (click on each one to "get update")worked, and I've had no further problems. It DOES seem that there is some kind of glitch in the "update all" button in itunes!

You don't need to download every app one at a time. Just find the app(s) which restrict material to kids under 17. Download those first, then you should have no problems with the rest.

It's not the actual downloads that are causing a memory shortage, it's the "17 or under" warning message. This message is causing some sort of memory leak.

Download your restricted apps first, then the rest will update fine. I downloaded the age-restricted app "Around Me" first, then I was able to download the remaining twenty-something apps simultaneously with no problem.
