"Cannot send message using the server ________"

What I did:

Add Account (entered correct information) & checked automatically setup this account.

Then I tried sending myself an email and got this pop-up, "Cannot send message using the server Clinton Cole"

so then I used the *connection doctor* & it said "connection status: mail was able to connect to the internet", ".mac connection and login to server succeeded" & "Clinton Cole connection and login to server succeeded"

What am I doing wrong :(?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Thanks Csranta. It worked for me.

Obviously there are bugs with mail.app. I think Apple should seriously look into it.
I wasted one week on calling my hosting provider when actually it was my Mac 😟

I quit the Mail.app. Then I removed the "com.apple.mail.plist"
Make sure to archive your mailbox.
