Alternative to Download QuickTime Movies

Because I don't want to buy QuickTime Pro, I downloaded some QuickTime movies from a website using Net Vampire. However, this shareware is only for Windows. I need a Mac alternative. Any suggestions? P.S. Is there a way to download Flash movies?

Hey QT Kirk, I posted the following a few days ago but no responses. I'm sure QT 7.02 has screwed up my system. Any thoughts?
"After updating to QT 7.02 from 6.52 some appz (Roxio Toast & Jam for eg) will no longer use my Digidesign Digi 002 soundcard, error -2004 appears when I try to play an audio file in these appz. When system preferences/sound output is reverted to "built in audio" all is fine again. I've used the 7.01 reinstaller and the 6.52 reinstaller but the problem is still there. I'm sure this problem only started after updating QT to 7.02. I've noticed some other users having similar or related issues with 7.02. Please help.....!"
