90-day complimentary support expiring - a week after I bought it!?

I purchased an Apple iPod Classic 160GB on the 12th July 2009, and on the 20th July I received an e-mail from Apple saying my 90-day complimentary support was expiring.

How is this possible? Is there any way I can e-mail Apple to get them to correct this? The support site is useless unless you call them.

Go here -> https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do
After you input the serial number, it will show you your warranty date.
If the warranty date it incorrect, read the instructions.

which will take you to here -> http://www.apple.com/support/service/help/warrantycheck/dateofpurchase.html
,input your info then fax proof of purchase (a dated receipt) to Apple.

Note that it is 90 day complimentary phone support for a single incident.
All iPods come with a one year warranty.
