How to edit messages I've received
I used to do this all the time on my work's Lotus Notes email system. Is there any way to do this in Mail? Thanks in advance for any insight!

On occasion, I need to edit an email I've received so that it has all relevant info needed to be saved. For example, I just purchased a software download. The email that contains the necessary downloading info has a very generic subject line. I want to change it to something more meaningful, like "Download info for XXXXXXX software." I also might want to add some body copy like "originally downloaded on Aug 8, 2000"

Wow, that was a quick response! Actually, your suggestion is what I do now. The problem is that all these emails have me as the sender. This makes it difficult to search by sender when I need to find in the future.
