.mov files in Premiere

I am having no luck getting some HD .mov files to import into Adobe Premiere. Premiere tells me I am missing a codec.

Is there a Windows version of the Apple Intermediate Codec?

The footage was recorded with a JVC camera onto a Firestore DR-HD100 drive.

I have tried a couple of 3rd party codecs, such as DivX, an update of Apple ProRes, and activation of Quicktime Pro with no success.

.Mov files are supposed to be native to Premiere. Does anybody know why this is happening and what the solution is?

I have tried it a few times and each time the installer tells me I already have a later version. It must be included in the latest version of Quicktime. At this point I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling QT Pro-- Same result, audio but no video in the QT player.

It might be the absence of some sort of JVC codec, possibly m2t (?), but I can't find a download for that.
