Driver for network card is your issue. What Mac/MacBook/Pro do you have? Do you have the MacOS Installation DVD that has bootcamp? If not you will need to scour for it...apple does not post drivers on there site like every other pc manufacturer on earth does. Once again nice move Apple!! I will continue to beat these and other issues to death untill this idiots at apple do something to help the campers out.
Did your MacBook come with Leopard installed? If so, what you need to do is insert Install Disc 1 while running Windows. The Boot Camp drivers should automatically install.
I have a similar issue. I am running (broadcasting) the internet through my Mac Mini running OS 10.6. My Macbook (also running 10.6) sees the internet fine. Once I boot the Macbook into XP (SP2), it can see the SSID but wont connect. It says something about checking to make sure the network is still in range. I have also installed the drivers from the 10.6 DVD. Any hints?
Having the same issue on MBP, Parallels, and windows Vista. MBP has internet connection thru Time Capsule, but Virtual Vista Machine within Parallels does not. Doesn't connect to internet either wirelessly or with ethernet plugged in. I do not have this problem with my iMac using Parallels with XP and same Time Capsule. Any suggestions are appreciated. I'm thinking this is a Vista issue since XP works in Parallels on a different machine on the same network.
I also have problems with Windows Vista Enterprise connecting to the internet. I get wireless connectivity, but the ethernet plug-in does not work. If I reinstall the bootcamp 3.0 drivers then it works until I reboot or turn the computer off. The next time I start Windows, no internet/ network connections and I have to re-install the drivers again. I'm not installing bootcamp drivers every time I have to boot the system. This is NOT a Windows problem - this is Apple.
