HP Color LaserJet 1215/ 1210 series

Why does this and one other HP printer not have a driver for the MAC??
If there is going to be a driver for this model when is the MAC driver for this printer going to come out?
Are there any other ways around it? I have just bought this printer only to discover it is useless.
The salesman said it was compatible but obviously he is wrong but do i need to return the printer or can just wait a few days/ weeks before the driver comes available?

Your sales person was incorrect about support of OS X. This is a quote directly from HP,

+"Supported operating systems Windows 2000; Windows XP Home; Windows XP Professional; Windows Server 2003; Certified for Windows Vista(R)"+

I would recommend returning it immediately and getting the Color LaserJet CP1518ni Printer, this machine is built on the same engine as the CLJ 1215 but is designed to work with OSX.

Regards,

Roger
