Is separate FTP software (Fetch, Cyberduck) still necessary w iWeb 09?
I am new to iWeb, and have iWeb '09 (3.0.1) on my Mac. I want to create a new website for my son; nothing fancy, just pics and videos; no blogs or anything. Does the new version of iWeb ('09) eliminate the need to use a FTP client software like Fetch or Cyberduck? I would prefer to simplify and streamline the process, if possible. I will use GoDaddy to host.
After reading previous posts I can't be sure if those programs are redundant/useful and/or required anymore. Thanks in advance, Jeff.

You can use the iWeb FTP but it has a lot of limitations.
I need to publish to a local folder to add tags and optimize my files before upload.
Also, if you want to upload folders of assets you need to use a separate FTP application.
The iWeb FTP doesn't allow you to manage the files on your server so you need an FTP application to do this or go into your control panel which can be time consuming.
