How to sync from iPhone calendar to Google Calendar online?

Okay, I've managed to sync my online Google Calendar to my iPhone without using iTunes. Now, what if I enter a date on my phone and want it to appear on my online Google Calendar? How do I accomplish that?

Once you have it set to work with Google, that is it. When you add to one, it automatically syncs. You don't have to do anything else.

Yes, I got it to work. I didn't see the option for different Calendars on iCal. Once I clicked on that, I saw the Google Calendar and realized I could use that to enter data and sync to my online Google Calendar.
