how many kb is album artwork

how many kb is album artwork

If I really need the space on my iphone, any idea how many kb the album arwork is? I'm guessing not much...mabye a few hundred?

Ones from the iTunes Store can run about 400 KB to 600 KB though I have some that are only 25 KB.

I just dragged a few images of purchased track artwork to my desktop and looked at the info in Finder. Dave's right - the size fluctuates. Ones from 2007 are smaller. The newer ones seem to be around 90KB.
