While it was for A440, there were several suggestions on how to do this sort of thing for GB1. Does anybody remember what I am remembering? Or are we all too spoiled with the built-in tuner?
Does anyone know if there is a way to alter the standard tuning pitch in Garageband and/or Logic? I tune my instruments to 438hz rather than 440hz, so is there a way to change the tuning in the software so that the loops fit with my acoustic recordings?

I think your best bet would be to record your own tuning tones. You should be able to use a software instrument to record a pure tone for a few seconds and pitchbend it to your needs.

If you have a US-122, the supplied software tuner for that will let you change the pitch from 430 to 450 Hz. (I guess any of the TASCAM US-XXX boxes have the same tuner...)
It just seems that, because the accordion is the only out of tune instrument, a plugin in to raise the pitch of the recorded accordion track would be the easiest. I have seen a few plugins but these are in the $299.00 range which seems pricey for the simple thing he is trying to do.

Anyone know of a cheaper alternative?
Can you tune an accordion? According to internet sites on the subject it ain't easy!

sure enough! It most certainly does. I never used that tuner since I got the US-122. I was quickly able set it to 438. But that is only good for instruments you can tune. The software instruments in GB are another beast altogether.
