I already have a Google adsense account for my e-mail address?!

In Iweb 9 I tried to use the adsense widget. I was asked to make an account. So I typed in my e-mail address (......@mac.com), but I got the message that this adress was already linked to an adsense google account! For the life of me I cannot remember making an adsense -account with this address, or any other for that matter. When I tried to use that 'existing account' the postcode or phone number I entered 'did not match the Google adsense account'. (no wonder) Anyone else stumbled upon this too? Should I now change my .mac/me e-mail address? Could two mobile me users have the same e-mail address?

It's possible someone else typed their email address in wrong I guess.

No one has the same email address as anyone else, however you might want to change your password (and any passwords of accounts associated with your email address) for extra security.

In the mean time you'll just have to create a new email address.

A number of people have the same problem.
I'm one of them. I have an adsense account already in this case.
When I try to set up adsense through iWeb, I input my data and it
won't recognize my information.

You don't need to make a new email address. There is a breakdown
between the iWeb program and google. They are not communicating
properly.

I would like to know how to solve this problem also.

But you may as well make a new email address or use an laternative one, since it's a free workaround for the problem.

If it's a communication issue between iweb and google, you will have to contact apple and google directly because no one else can help.

I've tried several e-mail addresses, even made up one, but everytime I get the same response. The widget is just not working properly. Could an update fix it?
