deleting growl mail

I had the app Growl on my computer that doesn't seem to work with SL. When I open Mac Mail I get a notice that it's disabled GrowlMail plug-in. Mail works fine, but I keep getting this notice each time I open the mail app. I've tried uninstalling Growl, but the uninstaller can't seem to find all the components (and neither can I). Does anyone know how I can get rid of the GrowlMail plug-in so I can stop getting this notice each time I start mail up?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

It's in your home folder under Library/Mail/Bundles.

Greetings,

If you're running Snow Leopard, you need to update your profile to reflect that; otherwise you are saying one thing but contradicting that with your profile information.

To remove Growl in it's entirety, you need to remove it from these locations:

Home/Library/Mail/Bundles
Home/Library/Application Support/Growl
/Library/Preference Panes

Once you've done that, restart your Mac and all should be well again.

Quit Apple Mail, then go to /Library/Mail and look in the MailBundles folder. Delete GrowlMail. This will remove GrowlMail.

I did find mine however in ~/Library/Mail, I think I did a manual install though.

It was said it would be in your Home folder, and that is where you found it -- that is the same as ~.

Thanks all. It worked. Will delete all growl until the come up with a SL compatible version.

Hi all, have deleted all Growl in my AIR after upgrading to SL according to the post above.. but still, everytime I open Mail, same message keep prompting out saying that GrowlMail is incompatible.. Anyone here can offer a helping hand??

Hi guys please help, I tried everything to get rid of this Growl, uninstalled, deleted all the Bundles and other files I could found, yes, restarted etc but this message of the disabled plugins keeps reappearing every time I launch Mail. Is there a solution anyone knows? Thanks a lot!
