PGP with Snow Leopard ?

All,

I currently use GPGMail ( http://www.sente.ch/software/GPGMail/English.lproj/GPGMail.html) for signing and encrypting my e-mail, but from what I've read, the author has no current intention to port this to Snow Leopard.

Can anyone recommend an alternative solution for encrypting, reading encrypted messages and signing / verifying signatures with Mail.app ?

If not, could anyone recommend another mail client with the following features:
- Solid IMAP support and offline caching
- PGP / GnuPG support
- Support for random signatures
- Support for multiple mail accounts

I had the same problems.

MB Pro5.1 on Snowleopard.
I'm running the Mail App in 32 bit mode, because of some other plugin which is not working in 64bit mode. If I activate your plugin I'm not able to send any mail and cannot close the window as some other people mentioned here.

If I change the mail app to run 64bit mode everything works as designed.
Maybe this helps, on the one hand as an interim solution, on the other hand as hint to find the bug.

Thank goodness there's an update for this. And it works nicely with 10.6.2 here. That was one of the few painful gaps in Snow Leopard. Still I wonder why the information about these new versions and all the development are only appearing on forums here and there. Neither the GPGmail homepage nor the Sourceforge project page give any structured information. This would be important, after all we're trusting this plug-in with confidential data...

So how did you get it to work with 10.6.2?? Every time I start Mail.app it says that the bundle is incompatible and moves it out of the way. I rely on GPGMail. I was screwed by PGPCorp once too often (their license that is for "all upgrades" is only for all MINOR REVISION upgrades. Major revisions are not included -- not stated clearly. And I can't go to Thunderbird/Enigmail for signing because I sign ALL my messages, and I sort of detest Thunderbird. 🙂

Any other ideas?
