Photoshop CS4 crashes after Snow Leopard Upgrade

Most people I know have mac's and are heavy photoshop users, you think Apple would make sure that one of the biggest and most popular programs for a mac would work properly! Saving, opening and editing all crash it, its very unstable now. Hello, I make my living as a graphic designer and NEED my photoshop to work! this is completely ridiculous for it not to work on both of my machines.

Apple needs to get back into the mindset of having stable systems and OS not all the fun and fluff!!!

Anyone else having issues with photoshop?

Just a reminder: The Snow Leopard 10.6.2 update is out. There have also been a couple of Adobe updates since my last post. I have noticed that my Wacom tablet has been working much better since the 10.6.2 update but that could just be coincidence or "Sun Spots" ???

I'm going to give it until the end of the month and start turning stuff back on; Like: "Sharing" and my old buffer memory settings. But the memory doesn't really seem to be a problem since I am doing huge panoramas with no errors. I just wonder if it will be faster with the bigger (old setting) RAM buffer.

Now that it seems to be fixed, let's see if we can break it again!:-)

Just a clarification to all:

It's "Mr. Pi" that came up with the solution. While I think his efforts should be rewarded with an honorary doctorate, you might not be able to find his other contributions if you are looking for "Dr. Pi." Instead try "Mr. Pi"

Then again. perhaps we can all convince him to change his call sign???
