Why does Pages quit unexpectedly while using the SFWordProcessing plugin?

I took the advice to install Work again -- though it's hard to believe the Apple Store did it wrong less than six months ago.

I resintalled.

Same problem. SFWordProcessing plugin causes Pages to stop. Reopening doesn't help.

This needs a real solution.

Is there anybody of you who is working with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and the font "Hoefler Text" is generally running well by using typeface Italic, Black or Black Italic?

Hoefler Text behaves well on machines whose Operating System was updated to 10.6.2 using the combo updater as explained in several threads.

Yes, the 10.6.2 COMBO update contains a working Hoefler font.

Since I have been installing Combo-Update 10.6.2 "Hoefler Text" is running well.

I have discovered the drag from .pdf direct into Pages bug was fixed in 10.6.2 as well.

Hey gang,

Wanted to thank whoever discussed the issue with Hoefler text. I have been struggling with this issue for a while, and it is all fixed.

1. open font book

2. search for hoefler text

3. Click "disable button"

All pages documents now open without difficulty.
