Edit to Tape: Black Only. DSR-11
Hi Been using FCP for years with DSR-11 and ETT function with no problems at all.
Have just recently used a Sony Z1 HDV camera to capture some footage down converted from 1080i to DV.
When I went back to my DSR-11 and a different DV native project the ETT function only records black to tape. The sequence shows on my monitor fine and the tape queues up and records fine - but black only!
Normal playback is routed via the DSR-11 and that still shows up fine. If I Print to Video - that works intermitantly, but not guranteed.
I've laid down bars & tone on a fresh tape via simple video out successfully, so the deck works, the firewire connection works, that just leaves FCP to my thinking?
I've trashed preferences, reinstalled software, restarted computer, refreshed video device in FCP, reselcted easy set up - DV - no joy. Can any one shed any light please?
