System Prefs not opening

I am having an issue where the system preferences box is not opening, so I have to force quit it and then reopen. It is not responding half the time. Any ideas? Thanks!

Tried this fix again and for now it works. This seems to only be a temporary fix though. I have to keep deleting these files to continue to get this to work.

Weird huh. System Prefs opens as long as I keep on deleting the affected files. How can I repair the files from getting corrupt everytime?

Still nothing. When I delete the file mentioned above, it works. It is like something is re-corrupting the file though.

Reinstalled 10.6 Deleted all of Hard Drive So far, so good
