Snow Leopard + Logitec Harmony One remote

Trying to dot the I's and cross the T's before moving to Snow Leopard. Can anyone comment about whether the Logitec Harmony One universal remote configuration software/application is okay running under OS X 10.6?

How are you all getting it to work? I have SL and a new Harmony 1100 remote and cannot get it to connect via Logitech's software. I followed the instructions on how to set it up manually to connect to the internet and have a green light and connected status for the remote, but still get the "Plug the USB cable into the remote control..." and nothing ever happens.

Me too. Running 10.6.2 and cannot get the Logitech software 7.6.0.8 to recognize that the Harmony 1100 remote is plugged in via USB. When I first introduced the software and remote to my MacBook Pro, my computer thought I was starting a new ethernet network and asked to configure. I allowed it at first then quickly delete the setting when I realized it would not allow me to get back on my Airport network.

Since I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Logitech software 3 times, I have not had the same result where my Mac asked to configure a new ethernet network which leads me to believe that there are settings that are being held within my computer. Does anyone know what files need to be deleted to get a fresh beginning? It seems that people are able to get Snow Leopard to work with the software but the steps are not accurately represented on the internet.

In my brief experience with Logitech I have found that their phone support doesn't know the first thing about Macs and their website help is shockingly inadequate where as they offer several suggestions in which they never complete the steps of what to do????

I am so glad its not me who is going crazy.
I got new Harmony 1100 and nothing is happening. Remote does not respond when connected to my iMac at all. I found the link on their website (what a mess) which I followed and ... nothing.
I even got it tested on my iBook G4 which runs Leopard only, but the same... no response.
I am calling Logitech helpdesk and if they cant help I am sending mine back......

Try this, it did not work for me at all.

I just got my harmony 2 days ago set up is crazy but all you have to do is connect the USB straight to the IMAX not the keyboard. Firewall off. Then it should reconize it as soon as it does and does all the loading disconnect it. Do all your changes with the control disconnected as soon as you have all your devices and activities set then it gives you the option to update it. Connect your control then hit update. It will reboot. WAit a little then disconnect it. Forthe iMac go to setting, security then unpair. It should work. I got my harmony 1100 to control my iTunes and to make my iMac go to sleep!
