CAPS LOCK reversed

Hi all,
Two weeks ago, I bought a MBP 17 (my first Mac ever) and I am now facing my first issue.
The Caps Lock key is reversed. When the key is on (light on), it types lower case letters. When the key is off, it types capital letters. This issue appears quite randomly every 4-5 boots.
How annoying for a machine this price! Does anyone encounter this issue on recent MBP? I have looked at different threads on Mac forums, but I did not find the solution. I am afraid this is the tip of a hardware problem. Software updates have been done. Please help me Mac Genius!

MBP 17 2.8GHz, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

In Windows, I believe reversed caps lock can be deactivated by pressing both Shift keys at the same time.

Thanks guys. Indeed, I installed Windows Vista via Bootcamp. However, this CAPS LOCK reversed thing happens in OS X. Apparently, it comes again every 5-6 boot up, or each time I plugged a Microsoft Optical Mouse for a reason. Anyone has any more tips? Thanks in advance.

Are you running Bootcamp? Caps lock reversal was a long standing Microsoft problem. I used to know the key sequence to fix it but I can no longer remember it.
