Does Mail in Snow Leopard support RPC over http?

I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I don't have an iBook but I do have a MacBook with Snow Leopard. I'm so excited to use it with Exchange but I can't figure out why it won't work. It keeps telling me that I don't have the most updated version of the software but I checked with my admin and we definitely do!
No idea how to fix it, hopefully you can point me in the right direction!
