Images distort while editing

Seems like I can't really edit any images with iphoto's built in image editing feature. Trying to rotate, remove red eye etc always distorts the image to this:

Has anyone bumped into something similar?

Macbook Pro / iMac C2D, Mac OS X (10.6)

Just downloaded the Aperture 3 trial, imported two images and got the same editing problem mentioned here. Maybe Apple will fix the problem now!!?

I'm also seeing this in Aperture 3. Even worse. I can't seem to do any editing at all in Aperture without this issue popping up. It is such a pain.

Well, 10.6.3 makes no difference, iPhoto is still broken.

... and even the update to iPhoto 8.1.2 (424) did not help.

Two updates this day: two times disappointment.

Just heard from Apple that they are aware of this graphics bug and it will be fixed in 10.6.4.

10.6.4 out now one of the fixes (as Mateus mentions):

"resolves an issue editing photos with iPhoto or Aperture in full screen view"

Wow you guys are lucky! 10.6.4 has in now way fixed this issue on my MacBoook!

Where to now I wonder as it really makes this MacBook un-usable for iPhoto.
