Alarm Clock

I have noticed several issues with my alarm clock:

Multiple alarms won't work if the first alarm has gone off and is not dismissed.

Sometimes the alarms won't work. (sound turned all the way up, multiple or single alarm clocks set)

Setting the alarm for a certain time, and having it go off at a completely different time. (I set it for 7am this morning, and it went off at 5am. My time settings are correct)

Multiple alarms will go off as soon as I dismiss or unlock the iphone. (I have an alarm set for 7 am, and 7:15am. The 7am alarm might go off, but the 7:15 definitely won't go off unless I dismiss the 7am alarm.)

Is this an issue with push messaging? Can the iphone handle multiple push requests? What happens when I get a text from Bob, then from Bill. Will Bill's just not show up as a push notification?

This seems pretty weak sauce. I have restored my iphone and ipod touch, and I am having the issue on both devices.

Why can't the iphone have a unique sound volume? Why am I forced to verify volume prior to going to bed? This is just a request, and is something that should be automatic for the iphone

I too have a problem with there being no volume control for the alarm separate from the phone volume. In my opinion, there should be 3 separate volumes - the one for phone sounds (ringer, texts, emails, etc), one for application volume, and one for alarm volume. Too often do I have to set the volume to 1 or 2 ticks because some app developer put very loud sound in his app, only to sleep late the next morning because I didn't hear my alarm (or miss calls because I was more than 10 feet from the very quietly ringing phone).

Another extremely annoying problem is that if the alarm isn't dismissed, the next time you unlock the phone, the alarm goes off. This has happened to me several times when I hit snooze, then went to take a shower. I guess the iPhone gives up on going off every 10 minutes after a while, because the alarm doesn't go off again throughout the day until the iPhone is unlocked. More than once, I have unlocked my phone at work, causing the alarm to go off at full blast, more than 7 hours after the alarm time (as an example, it's currently 3:48 PM, and I'm posting this because I just had to explain to 3 co-workers why my alarm just went off -- it's set for 8:30 AM).
