computer wont reboot after installing safari 4.0.3

I downloaded and installed Safari 4.0.3 my MacBook Pro and when I restarted my computer it doesn't get passed the blue screen.

iBook G4 14" and MacBook Pro 15", Mac OS X (10.4.11), 1.42GHz PowerPC G4, 1.5GB RAM and 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo 2GB RAM

I started up in single-user mode and used tried "fsck", it ran through the five "phases" and the message read "** The volume (nameofvolume) appears to be OK"

Once you've done that the computer reboots and it's like the first time you used the machine. Your old accounts are all safe. From there you just change all other account passwords in the account preferences!

I had to reset OS X password when I first got this computer and the terminal commands I was told to use were different the ones I'm seeing in those links.

the terminal commands shown in the links are,
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now

the terminal commands I was instructed to use were,
mount -uw /
mv /var/db/netinfo/local.nidb /var/db/netinfo/local.nidb.old
mv /var/db/.AppleSetupDone /var/db/.AppleSetupDone.old
usr/libexec/create_nidb
shutdown -h now

Have you tried the Safe Boot again since doing this?

Can you copy your Home Folder in Target Mode?

When I start in verbose mode these are the messages that appear when my MBP gets stuck.

Oh oh, the dreaded "disk0s2: 0xe0030005 (undefined)", means either the Hard Drive or the Logic Board is dying usually.
