I used the Advanced Options when rebuilding (scavenge) and it reported no problems, repaired disk permissions and checked all files & folders and it reported no problems, ran the Manual Diagnostics hardware test (S.M.A.R.T.) and reported no problems.

what do these mean?

mds.install.lock

while using DW i came across these.

also when i boot after using DW the pointer and the mac OS X window show, but still won't boot.
