Alesis Firewire Multimix 12 - GB "08 works fine -any problems going to '09?

I've been sitting on this iLife '09 box for a while until things seems to shake out, which seems to be the case. Anyone have a different take? Snow Leopard is a different matter, but if you want to share, I'm happy to listen. My interest is in Alesis specifically. mike

Thanks for the info, and I don't mean to pick this to death, but it looks like the Alesis driver for GB '09 is the same as for '08, as it seems to be the most recent. Was that your experience? Just load it and go? Did you load iLife, then SL? I haven't read/heard that it would make a difference, but the Apple Care phone people I spoke to "suggested" waiting for SL to settle down before installing - or words to that effect. thanks.

I've been using a Firewire Multimix 8 with 09 and snow leopard no problems what so ever.

Is that really the case? I had heard that the Firewire drivers for the MultiMix 8 were not compatible with Snow Leopard. I have been holding off upgrading my production Mac for that reason alone. I've been waiting for Alesis to update their drivers for Snow Leopard.

If I can be assured that the existing driver (dating back to January 2008) works fine under Snow Leopard, perhaps I will apply the 10.6 upgrade to my main machine.
