iTunes 9, sorting multidisc Album by Artist & Album by Year broken!

I've checked this on multiple installs (all on Macs). Sorting multi-disc albums with Artist by Album and Artist by Year results in tracks not following the disc number, so track 1 disc 1 is followed by track 1 disc 2, then track 1 disc 3, etc.

Same issue with me - how do you guys normally sort tracks (self recorded TV Shows) of different Albums in the same show?

Is it me or in 9.0.2, this is still a problem if set in cover flow?

Grid view sorts it properly, so you don't have 80 album artworks for a 4 cd compilation. I find grid view annoying, having to double click into artists or albums like folders! In cover flow i still have 80 album pictures for a 4 cd compilation.

Hi, welcome to Apple Discussions.

The issue that originally prompted this thread has been resolved in subsequent builds and involved the play order of tracks within a multi-disc album already organised to appear as a single cover in both Grid & Cover Flow.
