TV Show sorting

I have a complete series of a TV Show. It has 6 season with about 20 shows per season. When I sync the shows with my IPT the play list is in a strange order. The episode # is sort first then the season number. So all the Episodes 1 of the 6 season are first in my list, not the chronological order of the show. I want it to be season then episode. How do I use the sorting feature to do this?

Mac Pro 2.66 GHz, MacBook Pro 2.1 GHz, eMac G4, PowerMac G4, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

So what do we do? Wait until Apple get this sorted or retag all our TV Shows?

It seems a strange thing not to have tested before releasing the iPhone/iPod touch update.
