Album Art screensaver won't work w/iTunes 9

I just updated to iTunes 9 and now my screensaver won't work. I use the standard Apple iTunes artwork screensaver. It say "You're iTunes library does not contain any songs with artwork". Any ideas? I closed iTunes, reopened it, restarted it. Obviously all my songs and artwork are still here.

Another thing that might have happened is that the library could have somehow forgotten where the artwork was. In Lion, I ran a system cleaner program called Onyx, which I had always set in Snow leopard to delete previous iTunes libraries. I ran it in Lion and my screensaver could no longer find my artwork.

First, I tried Shauny's solution. I had no extra folder.

Next, on a hunch, I just launched iTunes from the Dock by pressing Opt-Click on the iTunes icon. From here, I selected "Open Existing Library" and the selected the "Itunes Library.itl" file in my iTunes folder (the one in my root directory, even though my library is stored on another hard drive). Everything returned to normal!

I had the same issue.

Originally i did

1. Placed iTunes folder on an external hard drive.

2. Went into preferences in iTunes to point iTunes to the next location on my external drive.

3. Deleted original iTunes folder (move to Trash)

4. Put alias of my iTunes folder on my external drive to the original location.

Issues arose which might be catching some people out.

Moving items to the trash doesn't necessarily remove it's reference from the screen saver, and more scary in iTunes.

Some music in iTunes was still being rereferenced from the trash, so was the screen saver.

1. Placed iTunes folder on an external hard drive.

2. Deleted original iTunes folder (move to Trash)

3. EMPTY THE TRASH

4. Go into preferences in iTunes to point iTunes to the next location on my external drive.

5. Put alias of my iTunes folder on external drive to the original music location.

Because you're changing the location of the iTunes Library iTuens will need to do some work and may take a while if you have lots of album art and music. If this doesn't happen it maybe using a different library.

After trying eveything I have read on these forums nothing worked, and i really mean everything! So i dragged out all my music from itunes and put it in the recycle bin then put it all back into itunes and it worked my album art is now my screensaver. the only thing i had to do was build my playlist again.

Hope this helps.
