Turn off album artwork on ipod sync

There used to be an option to turn off itunes syncing album artwork onto an ipod, but it looks like that option is gone now in the new itunes. There has to be a way to turn this off. It takes up so much unnecessary space in my old 5th gen ipod video. 30 gigs can only go so far...

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Try it on an 8gb Nano. 😉

I'd like to be able to turn this off in iTunes 9 myself, since the screen's so small the artwork really isn't that usefully viewable anyway, it's taking up screen space that info like title, artist, etc., really could use, and I'd rather spend that 30-some-odd megabytes on something useful to me, like music.
