darn Apple Store employees!!

I went into the NYC Apple Store yesterday and asked a bunch of questions, one of which being whether all of my existing software, inlcuding Aperture 1.5.6 would work if I upgraded to 10.6. They assured me ALL my existing software would work, and yet it seems Aperture 1.5.6 doesn't. So, what to do? I didn't write the name down of the person I talked to of course so I guess I am screwed. I just wish that the people who work at those stores actually know the correct answers to these questions: that just cost me not $29 but $229 for an OS upgrade. Dang.

Macbook Pro 2.4 mHz, Mac OS X (10.6), 160 gig drive, 2 gigs RAM
