16 x 9 Quicktimes

How do you export so that the 16 x 9 footage comes out as 16 x 9 Quicktime?

What are you exporting to? Quicktime Conversion? IF so, change the size of the export to reflect 16:9 ratio...

480x270 etc.

using Mpeg4 QT conversion i don't have the option for a custom frame size and the highlighted sizes are 4:3?

You should... Click on the OPTIONS button on the export dialog box and you'll see it.

It is still exporting as 4:3
I shot using DVCAM wide on a HDV Sony
edited as anamorphic and the frame size in the sequence says 720 x 576
it PAL format
export using current frame size makes it 4:3
in QT conversion, mpeg4, my frame size options are:
160x 120
176x 144
320x 240
352x 288
and no option for a custom frame size

Ah -- you are correct.

Sorry - I usually build my own based on the default QT Movie options and change the compression and the size there.
