Epson Printer Stylus C88+

I have down loaded the latest version of Epson Stylus C88+. It said C88 install was complete. In Print set up the C88+ or C88 is not listed.

I am at a lost. If it is installed, were is it and why does it not show up in printer set up - Help!

Gee,

As I begin to dig a little with Snow Leopard and my Epson R800, the new driver doesn't seem to have the "Manual Feed" driver that was necessary to use when direct printing to DVD discs with the included tray.

Anybody have a remedy for that? Because Epson seems to have 10.6 drivers. I'm using Discus 3, which worked great withe Tiger (10.4). I don't remember if I used it in Leopard, because I quickly upgrade to Snow Leopard after I got the 2009 Mini.

Peace to you all,

Yes
under the printer set up utility, I click on the +printer I con, under the printer name the "stylus C88 is listed & under connection it USB. The listing "Print Using is grayed. in the drop down menu under "Epson" this printer is not listed to choose. Under "more printers" I have a choice of "Windows printing- Apple talk, Blue tooth etc." or "Workgroup - network etc"".

I believe I should be able to select in the epson folder? Is there some where else that this file will load?
I see that the epson preference went into my "User-Library-preference folder & not my "hard drive-user-preference folder" - matter?

Gee,

It has been so long, I did think I know how to manually load a printer driver on the OS today.

The Library and Preference to your User is undoubtedly irrelevant.

So, after selecting EPSON USB, and selecting C88, if you got it to appear as a Printer Name, you may just have to select it in that list, and then you'll be able to further select "Print Using" a particular driver if more than one if offered.

Please let us all hear how it goes.

Peace to you,
C. Livingstone
