iTunes 9 - Unknown Error 306

I just upgrade the iTunes version from 8.2 to 9. Unfortunatelly whenever I'm trying to go to the iTunes Store I'm getting the following message "We could not complete your iTunes Store Request. An unknown error occured (306)". I have check my connection and it works perfect. Also, I have tried version 8.2 on my other computer and it works. It seems that the problem has to do with iTunes 9.

Pls advice.

MAY HELP U!!! Now I had the same problem I just bought an I phone 3GS. Well I finally gotta hold of someone through Apple that knew what there were doing. You want to make sure your firewall isn't blocking itunes. Here's what worked for me.

GO TO THE START MENU ON YOUR COMPUTER

THEN GO TO CONTROL PANEL

THEN IN THE LEFT HAND CORNER THERE SHOULD BE A SELECTION OF VIEWS CLICK THE
CLASSIC VIEW OPTION.

LOOK FOR INTERNET OPTIONS AND CLICK ON IT

THEN GO TO CONNECTIONS

THEN IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER SHOULD BE LAN SETTINGS CLICK ON IT

AND MAKE SURE NOTHING IS CHECKED

THEN HIT APPLY AND OK EVERYTHING OUT.

NOW THIS WORKED FOR ME. HOPEFULLY IT WORKS FOR YOU. THE LADY I SPOKE TO EXPLAINED TO ME THAT I TUNES WILL NOT WORK THROUGH A PROXY.

Hi:
had the same problem all weekend, try this fix offered by nantes37, it worked for me:
Launch Internet Explorer
Click the Tools menu
Select Internet Options
Click the Connections tab
Click the LAN Settings button
Make sure that that "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox is unchecked
Click OK till you are out of everything, and then close Internet Explorer
Try again in iTunes to load the store
