iTunes 9.0 toolbar in the Windows Taskbar doesn't work anymore

Anyone else having this problem? The iTunes window disappears and the usual toolbar interface shows on the taskbar but the controls have no functionality. You click them and nothing happens - you can't even get the normal iTunes window back unless you have the system tray icon on. Worked before with iTunes 8 and it seems to be a problem all versions of Windows. I've tried it on XP, Vista and 7 and they all had the same problem.

ps: If your folder is in another place, like D:, E: (...)
Before doing the step 5, enter the letter of your divice. Ex: F: and do Enter.

(Running on Windows 7 64 bits)

it still doesnt work for me! i tried the suggestion made about doing something before step #5 & i followed toonz's instructions and nothing happens. all that happens at the end is that itunes is launched, but the toolbar doesnt work =(

Hey we have a Dell 1525 too and this solution didn't work for us either. Don't know what to do.
