Change sort to ascending globally?

Mail's default sort is "Date Received," ascending. I have over 100 mailboxes and I'd like the default sort to be "Date Received" descending. I prefer the latest email on top. Doesn't everyone?

Rather than click the header bar in every mailbox I'm trying to find where I can change the key.

I've been searching the files in User > Library > Mail for the strings "ascending" and "descending" returning zippo.

Anyone know which key in which plist this option is stored?

Just to clarify cbparker's post:

The sort order problem is caused by Logitech's "LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader" scripting addition, located in /Library/ScriptingAdditions/. Removing it and then quitting and restarting Mail will fix the problem.

The reason that this bug appears more often when you run Default Folder X is that DFX loads its own scripting addition into Mail, and that causes LCC Scroll Enhancer to be loaded as well (there's currently no way to load only one scripting addition). Without DFX, the LCC Scroll Enhancer is only loaded if you run an AppleScript, so the problem happens less frequently.
